About Tiffany Flint-Ovando
Meet Tiffany Flint-Ovando, ASW
Hi, I’m Tiffany Flint-Ovando, an Associate Clinical Social Worker and therapist at Brightful Therapy. I bring nearly 10 years of experience in the mental health and behavioral health field, with a strong background in trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, emotional regulation, treatment planning, advocacy, and supporting individuals through complex life challenges.
I believe therapy should feel like a space where you can finally exhale, be honest about what you are carrying, and begin making sense of the experiences that have shaped you. You do not need to arrive with the perfect words or have everything figured out. Maybe you have been feeling anxious, emotionally overwhelmed, stuck in patterns you cannot seem to break, or simply exhausted from being the person who always keeps going. My role is to meet you where you are and work alongside you with compassion, curiosity, and respect.
My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, strengths-based, solution-focused, and trauma-informed. I believe that even during difficult seasons, people carry strengths, resilience, and inner resources that can become harder to recognize when stress, anxiety, trauma, or life transitions take over. Together, we can identify what is keeping you stuck, explore patterns that may no longer be serving you, and build practical strategies that support meaningful change.
I work with adults navigating anxiety, stress, trauma, emotional overwhelm, life transitions, low self-esteem, relationship challenges, burnout, and personal growth. I especially enjoy helping clients who may appear capable and put-together on the outside but privately feel overwhelmed, disconnected, uncertain, or tired of carrying so much on their own.
My professional background has given me extensive experience working within complex mental health and behavioral health systems. Over the years, I have supported individuals and families facing high-stress circumstances, emotional and behavioral challenges, crisis situations, trauma-related experiences, and major transitions. I have also collaborated closely with multidisciplinary professionals and community systems, experiences that have strengthened my ability to understand clients within the full context of their lives rather than reducing them to a diagnosis or set of symptoms.
As a trauma-informed therapist, I understand that past experiences can continue to influence how we think, feel, relate to others, and respond to stress in the present. Sometimes survival patterns that once helped us cope can later leave us feeling anxious, guarded, reactive, disconnected, or unsure of how to move forward. Therapy can provide an opportunity to better understand these patterns without judgment while developing healthier ways of coping, communicating, setting boundaries, and reconnecting with yourself.
My solution-focused and strengths-based approach means that therapy is not only about identifying what is wrong. It is also about recognizing what is already within you. Together, we can explore your strengths, identify realistic goals, build on what is working, and take manageable steps toward the changes you want to see in your life.
You may be a good fit for therapy with me if you find yourself thinking:
“I’m overwhelmed, but I keep pushing through.”
“I know something needs to change, but I don’t know where to start.”
“I’m tired of repeating the same patterns.”
“I want to feel more confident in myself and my decisions.”
“I need better ways to manage stress and my emotions.”
“I want support, but I don’t want to feel judged.”
At Brightful Therapy, I strive to create a welcoming and supportive online therapy experience where you can feel heard as a whole person. Your experiences matter. Your strengths matter. Your goals matter. Therapy is not about becoming someone completely different—it can be about reconnecting with yourself, understanding your needs, and creating changes that feel meaningful and sustainable.
I hold a Master of Social Work from Arizona State University and a Bachelor of Science in Human Services from the University of Phoenix. I am a California Associate Clinical Social Worker and provide therapy under clinical supervision. My professional experience includes therapeutic services, behavioral health support, crisis intervention, assessments, treatment planning, trauma-informed care, advocacy, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
If you are searching for an online therapist in California, trauma-informed therapist, anxiety therapist for adults, therapist for stress and burnout, solution-focused therapist, or a compassionate therapist to support you through life transitions and personal growth, I would be honored to connect with you.
You do not have to wait until things become unbearable to ask for support. Therapy can be a place to better understand yourself, strengthen the tools you already carry, and begin moving toward the life you want.
